ABOUT MEGAN

         MEGAN HAINES IS A 5TH YEAR STUDENT IN THE ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING PROGRAM AT THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY. SHE WILL GRADUATE IN MAY 2017 WITH A BACHLORS FOCUSING ON LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. MEGAN IS A MEMBER OF AN ENGINEERING SORORITY, PHI SIGMA RHO AS WELL AS WORKING HERSELF THROUGH SCHOOL. SHE HAS PARTICIPATED IN THE STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM TO ROME, ITALY TO ATTAIN A MINOR IN ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY. 


        THIS PAST SUMMER, MEGAN WORKED IN A LIGHTING DESIGN INTERNSHIP IN MANHATTEN, NEW YORK AT CLINE BETTRIDGE BERNSTEIN LIGHTING DESIGN. THIS INTERNSHIP GAVE INSIGHT INTO HOW TO COORDINATE A PROJECT, DEMONSTRATE TIME MANAGEMENT, AND ENFORCED DESIGN PRINCIPLES. MEGAN IS EXCITED THAT IN THE NEAR FUTURE SHE WILL BE SHIFTING INTO A  FULL TIME POSITION IN LIGHTING DESIGN.
